UGC – User generated content

What is UGC?

UGC stands for User generated content. But what does that mean?

In the end, you make use of “normal” users, people like you and me. They then create the appropriate content in the form of videos and images to push and represent your brand and product.

Who can better present or represent a Product as the people who will use it at the end and is part of the audience you want to address.

For example, we test a lot of technology and gadgets. How about creating video reviews of your product that you can present to your user group.

But what is exactly the advantage of UGC?

UGC is, at the end of the day, product advertising. The advantage of UGC, however, is that this advertising is not immediately recognized as such, as it looks more like normal content on a platform, e.g. a social media platform. In the end, you place the content like normal content that belongs there.

The undoubtedly big advantage here is that users look at these advertisements and you can therefore market their product accordingly.

Another advantage is that the content is created by the same group of users as the group that will later view the content. This means that your target group is presented with products by like-minded people, which creates a psychological connection and increases your marketing success.
